ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENTIATED LEARNING IN MATHEMATICS LESSONS FOR THE INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Abstract


Mathematics learning in an independent curriculum pays more attention to the learning phase and the ability of students with the aim of student needs. The needs of these students are the basis for learning that pays attention to the differences of each individual based on the learning profile, learning style, interests, and abilities of students. Differentiated learning is learning that accommodates learning needs by paying attention to the internalization of a process, content, product, and learning environment of students so that learning outcomes are achieved according to goals. The purpose of this study is to describe a literature review of differentiated learning analysis in independent curriculum mathematics lessons in elementary schools. The design of this research is library research which is directed to analyze the application of differentiation learning in elementary schools. The results of this article show that differentiated learning refers to four basic elements such as; The content, process, products, and learning environment of learners are in accordance with the expected goals.
